How to Never Run Out of Content Ideas Again (AI + 10 Minutes a Day)

April 2026 • 6 min read • Free template included

Gary Vee posted a reel the other day about how commenting on the news is the easiest way to establish yourself as a domain expert. Find an article in your industry, throw it on a green screen, and record your take. That's it.

The video that inspired this template

He's right. It works. But there's a problem nobody talks about: the actual hard part isn't recording the 60-second video. It's the 30 minutes before that — finding the right article, coming up with a non-obvious take, and getting a clean screenshot for the green screen.

That's half the work. And it's the half that makes people quit after two weeks.

So we automated it.

What If You Woke Up to Content-Ready Ideas Every Morning?

We built a Claude Code template that runs on a schedule — every morning before you wake up, it:

1. Searches for trending articles in your niche

3–4 articles from the last 48 hours, matched to topics you define. Not random stuff — articles your audience actually cares about.

2. Generates video hooks from multiple angles

For each article, it writes hooks from your brand perspectives using a 35-tactic framework. Contrarian takes, curiosity hooks, bold claims — each one labeled with its tactic type so you know why it works.

3. Screenshots each headline at 9:16

Phone-ready screenshots of the article headlines. It even QA checks each one — if there's a popup or cookie banner blocking the headline, it dismisses it and retakes the shot.

4. Sends everything to your Telegram

You wake up, open Telegram, and there's your content brief: articles, hooks, and screenshots. Pick the one you like, toss the screenshot into CapCut, and record your take.

The whole filming process goes from 40 minutes down to about 10. And you never stare at a blank screen wondering what to post.

This Isn't Just Another AI Prompt

This is a full skill template for Claude Code. You fill in your industry, your brands, your topics, and your voice. Then you set up a scheduled task and it runs automatically every single day.

The AI handles the research and the busywork. You bring the take. That's the part that actually matters — your perspective, your experience, your opinion on what's happening in your industry. No AI can fake that.

Gary's advice is solid: commenting on news is the easiest content play for establishing authority. This template just removes the friction that stops most people from doing it consistently.

What's in the template

  • Daily Content Hooks skill — fully customizable. Fill in your brands, topics, voice, and Telegram bot info.
  • Hook Tactics reference — condensed version of a 35-tactic framework. Every hook gets labeled so you learn what works.
  • Scheduled task prompt — copy-paste into Claude Code's scheduled tasks. Set your time and it runs daily.
  • README — 5-minute setup guide. No code required.

Who This Is For

Anyone who wants to post consistently but struggles with the "what do I talk about" problem. Founders, agency owners, consultants, freelancers, operators — if you have opinions about your industry and want to share them, this removes the friction.

You need Claude Code (the desktop app or CLI) and about 5 minutes to set it up. After that, it's fully automatic.

How to Set It Up (5 minutes)

  1. Unzip and copy the .agents/ folder into your project root (wherever you run Claude Code from).
  2. Edit the skill file — open .agents/skills/daily-content-hooks/SKILL.md and fill in your brands, topics, and voice.
  3. Set up a Telegram bot — message @BotFather on Telegram, create a bot, save the token to your .env.
  4. Create the scheduled task — in Claude Code desktop, create a new local scheduled task and paste in the prompt from scheduled-task-prompt.md.
  5. Set your schedule — pick a time (e.g., 7am daily). Done.

Tomorrow morning you'll have content ideas waiting in Telegram.
